Project context
This project focused on an existing garage where the drainage system required improvement.
As with any intervention on an existing property, the work had to take into account the conditions already present and adapt the construction solution to the actual configuration of the space.
Scope of the works
Maceta y Cortafrío carried out the works included in the agreed scope to improve the garage drainage and wastewater evacuation system.
The objective was to provide a more appropriate solution for the existing conditions while coordinating the work with the surrounding construction elements.
Working with existing buildings
Drainage problems in existing properties cannot be approached solely from the visible symptoms. Before carrying out corrective works, it is important to understand where the water comes from, how it currently drains and which parts of the existing system are involved.
For this reason, this type of intervention requires adapting the execution to the real conditions found on site rather than applying a standard solution without first assessing the space.
